We need to find some connection between Walter Cronkite, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Billy Mays. Finally found some footage that didn't involve Walter Cronkite announcing somebody's assassination:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwaA-hbvYF8 Logged Lord J Esq Moon Stone J Hero of Time (+5000) Posts: 5463 ^_^ "Ayla teach at college level!!" He set a standard to which I hope we will aspire again someday, because today's news doesn't even begin to come close. Y'all have no clue... I know that some were warning that his deteriorating health was being exaggerated, and that he was still alive. And on the sad possibility that this is true, we lost a great one. I plan to go into broadcasting myself, and I honestly look to him as a man who's decisions I wouldn't mind emulating. I never saw him on the CBS Evening News, but I understand what Walter Cronkite did for journalism today. His words could literally shake the world. It was his condemnation of the Vietnam War that pushed LBJ out of office. That's amazing. Logged Print Pages: [1] « previous next » Chrono Compendium » Zenan Plains - Site Discussion » General Discussion » Walter Cronkite Died
