FUCK Fight Club!

FUCK Memento!

FUCK Donnie Darko!

It's ALL about Mulholland Dr. (drive, not doctor)! This movie kicked my ass so hardcore, after it was done, I got up out of my fucking seat and paced around for a bit asking myself wtf I had just seen and what it all meant. Hell, even aside from the awesomeness of the few, nicely done, lesbian scenes, this movie still would have kicked my ass. It's...it's not even something you can really explain to anyone. You've just got to see it for yourself. And then you'll want to see it again. I don't suggest doing it on any kind of drug as it may impare your experience and/or FREAK YOU THE FUCK OUT!!!

Serioiusly. If I had to, I would have watched Catwoman several times for the priveledge to see this movie. I don't suggest that though...

Yeah, I really like this movie. I think I posted this in most of the forums I go to (that would allow for it anyways)...and every one of my friends in MySpace!

Like you really need an answer.

I have heard a bunch about the movie, but its crazier than Donnie Darko? I might just have to watch it to be sure.

Yeah, you could mush the craziness of Donnie Darko, Fight Club, and Memento, then times that by ten, and you'd still be nowhere near the craziness of Mulholland Dr.

Since I've got the movie in my hands, I'll give a lil extra info on it (from reading the back!)...As a matter of fact, I'll just transcript everything fromt he back that I can read...Just for kicks...

Winner! Best Director 2001 Cannes Film Festival

"Hypnotic!"
-Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

"It's beautiful, twisting...dangerous and addictive."
-The Washington Post

"It gets inside your head...and stays there."
-Vogue

This sexy thriller has been acclaimed as one of the year's best films. Two beautiful women are caught up in a lethally twisted mystery-and ensnared in an equally dangerous web of erotic passion. "There's nothing like this baby anywhere! This sinful pleasure is a fresh triumph for (David) Lynch (writer and director), and one of the best films of the year. Visonary daring, swooning eroticism and colors that pop like a whore's lip gloss!" says Rolling Stone's Peter Travers. "See it...then see it again!" (Time Out New York)

stars

Justin Theroux
Naomi Watts
Laura Elena Harring
Ann Miller
Robert Forster

I don't know if I have the fourth and fifth names right...w/e though...

GO SEE IT!!!

Funny how all anyone talks about with Mulholland Dr is the lesbians and the weird plot devices...

Nevermind the acting or the scenery, or anything AT ALL...

Sigh.

But...but I said aside from the lesbian scenes...

And the way I see it, if I can hook 'em with that much, they're bound to sit through the rest of it...I mean, I've got to admit, most of the beginning can be really boring because you don't actually know what's going on or why people are acting like they are...But around when you see the box (a literal box, not...y'know...VAGINA), everything turns upside down.
