Actually, ircdotnet.net isn't much of a compendium knock-off anymore. Aside from Teaflower, Laith, and SDD being present, the only similarity is in the notice that pops up saying it's fanmade. It's more of a social channel for tea's friends from elsewhere.
As alternatives, you could try MSN and AIM group chats, as quite a few Compendiumites use those. There's also Saturday night poker, which has a chatroom.
