Wolflobe Sword

I got this yesterday while playing.

I won it from a fight with a guard in the prison tower early in the game. By the time my brain registered I had gotten the 'sword', I had skipped the message, but seen it, and recognised it from the link I posted.

So it can't be equipped or even found in the inventory, I was wondering if it turns into another item upon obtaining it?

Also, anyone else ever found it?

I haven't personally, but I hear it's a glitch, so I doubt it plays any part in the game whatsoever.

It should be a weapon in one of the fan projects. Though it should have the opposite effect of being an actual weapon, but that you never know you acquire it when you do.

I got it once.

I was fighting Yakra XXXIII and I Twin Charmed him and got it.  It was one the original SNES cartridge.

Ah yes, I can see it now, the sibling blade (and by blade I mean hat) of the Masamune and the Einlanzer created by the... mystics in a dimension were they conquered and eradicated the humans.

Though, I do really like the name. Wolf Lobe, sounds ... anatomical.

I know my reply is a bit late, but I saw the Wolf Lobe Sword the last time I played in ZSNES, I believe from a Cave Ape. If I see it again,  either by luck or by hacking a PAR code, I will take a screenshot.

But can anyone confirm it is an emulator only bug or can it also be seen on a real SNES?

That's true, I did! It was my third or fourth playthrough of the game and had become addicted to Twin Charm (for instance getting advanced weapons your first go round in 65 Million BC). I was fighting Yakra XXXIII (or whatever his number was) when I "got" the weapon. I was incredibly excited because this was a weapon I had never even seen before! I was curious about the strange symbols, and wondered if they somehow represented the untold power of this rare blade. After the battle (and cutscene) I opened my menu and couldn't find it... I thought it was incredibly weird. I saved my game and reset it from a pre-battle save, and tried again. This time it was a no-go. A quick search on then-AOL 3.0 or 4.0 allowed me to recognize that this was a fluke and a glitch.
