Japanese Auction Sites
« on: November 26, 2013, 12:47:57 pm »
I've always wanted http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Chrono_Cross_Seiko_Watch.html

I saw it for sale on Ebay years back, but didn't have the money. This item seems to be very limited to Japan. I had a friend who was on a few Japanese auction sites a couple years back as well and remembers seeing one, but I have no idea what sites are the best, and also whether it's even going to be possible to effect international shipping if I can find one to buy. I have a friend or two whom I can bribe to consummate the transaction, but this is the wild west for me, and I don't want to get burned, either.

Of course, if anyone knows of one for sale in the US, I'll jump on it, too. Thanks for any help!

Apparently yahoo auctions is the place to be. Now to just wait.

Just the most likely place it'll be listed for sale. If I want to get serious, I guess I'd get someone to post a wanted ad or something offering $1,000.

Hey, ayabrea. I've never seen the watch at any auction site, but I have seen the Kotobukiya figures at ebay before. It's usually the Lynx figure (he's up for auction now), but Serge and Kid show up sometimes.

While not a Japanese auction site, the Chronopolis Seiko watch has finally made an appearance at Ebay.

For a whopping $3800...

Which is ridiculous. I finally got mine for $1,500. Insane price to say the least, but they seemed to be going for a little more than that from the old auctions I was able to dig up. It's the only thing I've ever really wanted in terms of Chrono memorabilia.

The Chrono Cross Seiko watch and Radical Dreamers music box are currently up on Ebay, in case anyone is interested. Though it is missing the original box, that's the cheapest I've seen the watch going for.

If only I had that kind of money laying around... Oh well.
