Marbule Sidequest...

Ok, I've read FAQs/talked to some people, and they all say that when you bring Another's Fargo to Home's, he will take control of the boat, smash into Marbule yadda yadda yadda...and most importantly, wake up the Black Dragon. Anyways, taking the Black relic from the sleeping dragon on my first playthrough thus missing the black plate and more importantly, the Master Hammer (So no rainbow-created items for me.) On my second playthrough, I whizzed through the game with the intentions of getting the hammer/plate this time around. So I got up to the point, and decided to kill a few dragons, then take Fargo to...Fargo. But even though I hadn't taken the relic, he still said all that garbage about how the concert has ended and that you can't turn back the hands of time etc. Being stupid, I went to Marbule again and decided to see if bugging the black dragon would do anything, and managed to take the relic AGAIN from him when he's sleeping. Gah!

So I restarted from my last saved point, and got up to where you first get Fargo and headed to home world and as SOON as I got there, I zipped to the S.S. Zelbess to go see if it would work this time. When I got there...he still said the same thing, and nothing happened.

I don't understand this...was there something I was supposed to do prior to this that I missed? If all it takes is the two Fargoes to meet, than something's wrong, because I'm bringing them together as soon as possible.

After (Another) Fargo takes control, and the concert begins, you must kill all the Lagoonates in Home Marbule. No way around it. Leave during the concert, and it's the end. In other words, make sure you're prepared to face off in about 9 ~ 11 consecutive battles. You must look in all scenes of Marbule to find the Lagoonates (including the Black Dragon's cave in the back of the village).

This annoyed me just about as much as Gaea's Navel; mostly, it was the fact that they couldn't give an original dungeon to one of the dragons, and just ended up re-using an old dungeon, almost to the same effect as they did with Mt. Pyre and the Red Dragon.

(Personally, I believe the Black Dragon would have been better suited to the Isle of the Damned, anyway).

In all honesty, I've never seen the scenario in which (Home) Fargo says that Marbule is doomed to be haunted by the Black Dream forever. I've never gotten the Black Relic from a sleeping Black Dragon.

I've always fought the Black Dragon, just like the rest of the dragons.

So...I have to go everywhere in Home World's Marbule for Fargo to take control? Because when I go up to him, he still says it's too late blah blah blah, and I'm brining Another's Fargo to him ASAP.

Alright...

This can only be done after Harle says you must seek out the 6 Dragons and their Relics, mind you. If you haven't witnessed this scene at the Pearly Gates of the Sea of Eden in Another World, you won't be able to initiate any of the missions involving any of the 6 Dragons. You simply won't be able to find any of them until you witness this scene.

To initate the concert, you must have Another Fargo talk to Home Fargo.

Another Fargo takes over S.S. Zelbess, and says it's now the Invincible. Have you witnessed this dialogue?

Then, the concert begins, you have the Celtic-rock remix music of Marbule playing in the background, and then it cuts to the scene of Marbule, and you have the blue, giant, walking lizard creatures (called Lagoonates) and you must fight about 9 ~ 11 parties of these creatures.

If you walk out of Marbule before you've killed all of them, that is when Fargo says it's over. So, make sure to look in every nook and cranny of Marbule to find all of them, especially the cave in the back of village where the Black Dragon is in Home World.

I don't recall if I did the bit about the Pearly Gates...although she has left my party, so I probably did.

The thing is, when I bring Another's Fargo to Home, even though I bring him RIGHT WHEN I GET HIM, Home Fargo still says The concert's over etc.
In response, all Another's Fargo says is, "You land lubber. Tch!" And then leaves.

If you do find a save of this, I'd appreciate it very much if you tell me what you find   .

What did you get the Sage to train Nikki? Cause if you did not the entire sidequest will be unavailable.

Well When your on the boat to get the Crab whistle thingy from the Sage to open up a path into the dead sea. Serveral times Niukki asks if you'll help him. Then after you fight the Sage for the whistle Nikki comes. You then can choose to tell the Sage to teach Nikki the song of Marbule....

Kazuki, here's how to do it from the beginning:

The whole scenario starts the first time you return to Home World as Lynx.

It begins just before you visit the S.S. Zelbess to get the Fiddler Crab from the Sage.

First, go to (Home Marbule), talk to an explorer who says he hears someone crying at night.

Sleep at the hut near the entrance (the only open building in [Home] Marbule).

You'll witness a scene with the mermaid.

Then, go to the S.S. Zelbess.

Eventually will come to scene when you must be turned into cats.

As cats, go up to the deck, and cross the tight rope from the Zelbess's crow's nest to the Magical Dreamers' green ship.

Witness the scene between Nikki and the mermaid.

A few steps later, you must fight the Sage.

After that, at some point, you should be able to freely cross to the Magical Dreamers' ship as humans, again, from the crow's nest of the Zelbess.

Then, talk to Nikki; the mermaid and the Sage should be present as well, and that's when the option for the concert opens up.
