Honestly, though, if SE is bringing another representative, I think it's more likely to be someone from Dragon Quest or another from Final Fantasy. I even have the suspicion that we may get a DDQ character around the time the movie debuts in Japan.

Then again, there's always the possibility of a surprise. Also, let's not forget being a playable character isn't everything. If Smash Ultimate ever gets something Chrono related, it might still be a Mii costume, or a Spirit, or something like that.

Still, gotta hope for the best, though prepare for the worst. As it is.

Ah, looking at that old post, seems I was more or less right. DQ character by the time of the movie.

Well, there's gonna be more DLC  characters after Wave 1... still, chances for a third SE character are still very slim. Still, not giving up the option of Chrono stuff for a costume or spirit...
