Disable battle music

I had read this post:https://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/index.php?topic=12597.0 about disabling the "Gale" battle music. But my question is: Is there a finished patch for applying to the CDs?

I tried doing it myself but I want to spare me the pain if there is a patch already...
