It's a plugin problem. There's a certain plugin that fixes that problem, but with the price of the characters looking less sharp. I would give you the name, but I'm not sure if that's allowed...

It is probably allowed, as emulators are allowed, and therefore plugins for emulators should be allowed.

I'd rather have an admin answer that question.

It's only ROMs that are iffy. Patches, Emulators, & Plug-Ins don't matter...But if nothing else you could just PM the poor bastard.

V's right, emulators are totally legal, and thats why they say "dont ask us for roms" and "we get around the red tape" and shite like that

i sort of fixed it, i have an old version of pete's open gl drivers that was causing the problem i think, his new drivers kind of suck all the proformence out of the game when i use them so i reverted back to the older plugin afterwards, only problem is it dosnt remember plug in settings after i switch back and forth (im using an old version of epsxe also due to a bug that locks the game up after trying to use the elements menu in battle)

wouldnt be able to recommend a plugin that works correctly both proformence wise but also fixes this glitch would you?

There's a command-line flag which makes this problem go away.  I'm not at home now, but it's something that uses the old version, or something.  Maybe somebody else remembers what it is.  Crono Cross is one of the few games it's necessary for (and you're already using the odd/even bit hack, or else you wouldn't be getting even that far).

P.e.Ops Soft Driver can fix that problem. Configure it, and viola, it's all fixed. I remember getting this kind of problem in Fort Dragonia, but you could get through it by simpley trying to walk through every spot on the wall. I guess the Orphanege's kind of harder.

The PEOPS plug-in works with these areas but the quality is bad. Instead, you can use the following settings with Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76 and it should work:

- FPS limit: Auto

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 3
- Framebuffer texture: 3
