In addition to the questions I gave him, Demiforce has agreed to answer around five fan questions from anyone in the community. You can submit them on this thread. I'll skip over one if it's already been asked in the interview (sorry, you guys can't see it until Sunday, sadly). Just be creative. Once I get a good five, I'll send them in.

If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, Demiforce is the guy who translated Radical Dreamers.

Were there certain parts of RD that had to do with the Japanese culture, and you had to completely change the quote to make it accessible to English players?

What is your technique for dealing with idioms and figurative language and other aspects of the text whose meaning cannot be translated literally?

Were there any surprises that you were not ready for when you were translating the text, such things that (for instance) had to do with Schala and The Zealian Kingdom?
