Radical problems (translation patch)

Hi everyone. I'm Chrono fan who has recently started becoming curious about Radical Dreamers. Unfortunately, the world seems to be against me when it comes to playing Chrono games (yeah, I'm from Europe).

The problem is installing the translation patch. I have a Macintosh, and whoever made the translation apparently doesn't seem to take into consideration anything other than Windows, at least judging by the readme. Simply installing the IPS patch won't work and I don't know what else to do.

Does anyone here know how to install a RD translation patch on a Mac, please?

Yeah, I tried that. The game stayed japanese, then it crashed after the title screen. Same thing if I applied the patch using a different program. The readme says that before doing that I have to run some sort of exe program which of course does not cooperate with a Mac.

Ugh. I can't find any. It's annoying when I look at lists of programs and all I see is Windows, Windows, Windows...

I use NINJA; it's just a PHP script, so it runs on anything.  There are also some OS X patch utilities at Zophar's Domain.

Yes, I know about Zophar's Domain. I already have those utilities, but the translation still doesn't work, it just does what I've described above, and they don't add/remove headers.
