Real World Influences, editor updates
« on: February 19, 2006, 03:53:27 pm »
Firstly, the Real World Influences article has been updated with new material gleaned from the analysis forum bearing the same name. Specifically, new information has been added concerning the etymology of Magus, parallels with Dante's Divine Comedy, another tale of the Gurus (and a particular flame), and a note on the Will o' the Wisps and blue flames. Check it out here.

Secondly, Deus has updated his savestate editor once more to allow editing of equipped Elements. For instance, you can have Riddel use Glidehook, or give characters high level summons. Once again, download the editor here. Additionally, quick installation files for Python and wxPython can be found here (Microsoft installer) and here (executable) respectively. Have fun!

I must have missed that entire discussion.  Makes me sad.  Damn my testing schedule.

*reads article*

Only thing I've found so far, aside from a couple of typos (Divine Comedy section, Norris) is that the number of crosses present in the series should be changed from zero to two (the pair outside of the church doors in the PSX ending).

The new analysis in the Magus section is a lot more in-depth than what was there before.
