Sort of off topic . . .

The CC theme to unite the universes and Schala's theme from CT are very similar. Has this been pointed out yet?

Not to my knowledge. I doubt that the similarity between two music numbers actually has anything to do with Schala's hair color (or, indeed, anything else). Square works in more obvious ways than that

As for Kid... I doubt that the two clones would develop exactly the same, particularly since Schala's high amount of exposure to the Mammon Machine probably ticked her DNA anyway.

Schala's exposure to the Mammon Machine was way before she cloned herself though. If the Machine had ticked her DNA, Kid would have inherited the same ticked DNA.

Perhaps she did, and Schala's gene didn't... manifest.. ehh... I have something here, I'm just not sure what.

I heard somewhere thats its a Zealian Royalty thing. Note that Magus hair is blue also. I mean, he probably just kept up his hair blue while trying to appear less human. Same thing. Schala just didn't dye her hair in the DBT (seeing as she had bigger worries with Serge, Lavos pieces, The FF, Electrical Storms, Dragons, and the eventual Time Devourer she would become). Why is Kid blonde? She's a clone and hair dye isn't built into one's DNA.

Now you could just call me crazy through all of this, but it makes sense when you consider A)Blue haired before CC and) Blonde afterward along with her clone.

Actually, only the women and Janus have blue hair in Zeal. The men all have blonde or white hair.

I've noted this before, but no one pays attention. That hair on the males and the females seems to be wigs. If you look closely at the males, the hair isn't connected to them, but it's on a rim of some sort. Like a band. They're either wearing head bands, or those are hats. Kinda like those soviet hats for the men. Women, it could be veils.

Or.....it could be just the way it was drawn. "Hey lets make them look weird."

I'm willing to bet its a Zealian hair dye thing....unless you can explain better why she has blonde hair? They probably just changed Kid to blonde hair to not alert EVERYBODY that she was really Schala and invented some minor plot detail (like hair dye) to explain it later.

I also read something about just "living in the Tesseract" that could have made her become Blond.

And as Marle is already blond, we haven't seen such a difference when she gets saved at the start of CT.


Well, that's just some stupid theory. Oh yeah and remember that Radical Dreamers' Kid is already blond, and that Masato Kato made her blond on purpose, so there must be something...
Or maybe it's just to make fans brainstorm. And that works in fact.

well in zeal most likely her hair was colored blue by her power, and with lavos sucking power from her it would probably change her hair color to the base color of blonde. also you notice time devourer looks blue(purple) when you fight him.

Schala obviously has uber power if she's alive, Lavos has to keep draining her to sustain itself, and that she could rip a hole in time to send out Kid (who required further energy).
Also, if her hair was dyed, firstly, hair color just doesn't fade. Remember, the DBT is pretty much a stand still. Second, if her hair faded, her hair would have grown considerably, it did not.

It's just a case of Masato or whomever going "Kid looks hot blonde so lets make Schala blonde".
