The likelihood of there being Crono is quite high according to my friends theory that Squeenix themselves are creating SSBB.
Watch.

Quote
Sakurai, the original creator of Smash Bros, is directing, with a top-secret Tokyo based team. They are saving the team for a future announcement, so it's quite big. Their memory card details reveal 10,000 hours of play time. HAL Laborotories are not developing. They're working on another game. Squeenix are developing Mario Basketball 3-on-3 for DS, and Nintendo EAD are developing Dragon Quest Swords. Uematsu is the composer/conductor for SSBB.

In my previous post I said what you wanted in the 3rd box. Let me know asap what you want exactly so I can begin translation.

The more people we get to put down Crono or anyone else, the better!

This could be it. If any of the Chrono cast is put in adds to fans playing SSBB, they then replay the Chrono series and hopefully spark a new desire for a new Chrono title.

"Chrono Trigger was a great Super Famicom game...I'd love to see Crono on the Nintendo Wii."

"I have been a fan of Chrono Trigger for a long time."

"Bring Crono back!"

"Please include Crono. He is a famous Square-Enix character and his inclusion would please very many old Super Famicom fans."

"Using Crono might provoke some more RPG fans to play the game!"

Each of those qualifies as an answer. Preferrably, someone could select from any one of those statements to place in the box. That way, the requests wouldn't be blatant carbon copies.

I used those 3 quotes from your post in that order. I had a friend of mine read your previous post and help me type it with a Japanese encoder in my school library.

For the nickname part, I simply put my full name with my e-mail address.

Can we get a couple more people here to submit Crono with a little bit of text explaining why he should be put in? I can translate almost anything with my friend at school. The next time I could do it is monday when I see him again. If there is any more suggestions anyone would like, please post them and I'll get them submitted.

Good damn, Magus. For anything else I might have to say about you, your user icon is absolutely smashing. Every time I see it I get a jolt. Compliments! It's good to see someone else around here appreciate that which is The Picard.
