How do you use mods?

I downloaded some chrono trigger mods and I have no idea how to make them work. I checked your FAQ and searched the net on info on how to activate these but to no avail.

Maybe you should sticky something like this somewhere cause I looked around the forums as well and couldn't find any answers.
