Means from 1020 A.D. ten years to 1010 A.D., not from 1030 A.D. to some unspecified point. What complicates this is that this already happened with a different version of Kid, meaning the current one would be subject to Time Bastard. But the Chrono Cross ending is sort of an ambiguous panacea for all that stuff, so we have no idea what the unification of the dimensions did.

Basically, Serge dies in 1,010 AD, history without Serge progresses up to 1,020 AD plus X days, then "original Kid" travels back to 1,010 AD to save Serge. "Original Kid" returns to her time. In the new timeline, history with Serge progresses up to 1,020 AD - X days, then the event of the game happens with Serge meeting the new Kid (not the "original" Kid).

Yes, that moment wasn't shown since the narrative is centered on Serge's point of view, who lives in a post-dimension split world. Basically, if the day when the original Kid traveled to the past was December 16, 1020 (it's just an example), then the day in which Serge talks to the Lucca ghost would be something like December 2, 1020 (just an example, accounting for the "further in the future" indication). Of course, the time travel was an event of the previous timeline, not the timeline seen in the game. On December 16, 1020 of the post-ending timeline, the event doesn't have to take place since it's already done.
