I've been slowly playing through Chrono Trigger over the summer and I've finally gotten to the point where I can do all of the side quests for special items. I've finished all of them except the rainbow shell thing and that's because when I go to the Choras Cafe in 600 AD Toma isn't there. There's some old guy sitting at the spot where Toma should be and everyone tells me something about how Toma is looking for the rainbow shell. Did I miss something while I was progressing through the game that should have triggered Toma going to the Cafe in Choras? Thanks in advance.
