Need help with Chrono Cross.

Is there anyway to find a SuperNova trap element? I'm currently fighting the Sky Dragon, and everytime I have died when he uses SuperNova. Maybe other tips will help me too, since I am new to this whole element type fighting.

Also, I have summon elements such as Frog Prince(I think is the name), Salamander, and a few others but, I have no idea how to use them. The elements are not usable when I go to select it even with full stamina.

I know I probably should know the concept of the elements by now but, I really don't. Please, any help/explainations will help me. Thank you.

The element shop in one of the Marbules sells that trap element.

Cool, thank you. Finally managed to beat him, course everyone was dead except for Lynx. When I set the trap, UltraNova(I guess it's called), he never used it through the whole battle, darn.

Another quick question. If party members die during a battle and I get a new growth level, do my dead party members miss out on the bonuses? From what I notice they do... just wondering. Thanks.

The reason you couldn't use the summons is that for the summons to work, the element field (the three ovals in the corner)  must all be the same color.

Suppose this is the right place.

I'm trying to get the Rainbow Axe that you hear about if you get Zappa with the other world Zappa, but they say you need a better hammer. The only better hammer I can find is the forger in Marbule, and that's just an equip item. Is there a way to get this better hammer? And also, if they can forge an axe of rainbow, can they forge other rainbow things? I have lots of rainbow from when I beat the game, but nowhere to use it.

The Hammer you need is called the Master Hammer, and you can only do it if you completed the Black Dragon/Marbule sidequest. After that, you have to go to to the rear cave in Marbule (Home World), where a man will sell it to you for 10,000G. Then equip it on Zappa, meet up with the other Zappa in Termina (Another World) and then they'll make you a Rainbow Axe and then you'll be able to create all them fancy Rainbow Items!

Actually, you don't get to keep the Rainbow axe they make.
