Heckran Whirlpool Exit Glitch

Hi there,

I'm working on some contributions to the Jets of Time Hack.

I notice every now and then when playing  on emulator (snes9x-rr 1.6 namely) -- players sometimes get stuck in the Heckran whirlpool and don't exit. A save on the overworld and reboot causes the event to fire.

I've seen in searching that this has happened in other hacks, but I've not seen what the fix was. Does anyone know what I need to change to resolve this?

What is this hack? Does it modify the 1000ad overworld events? Cause those really hate being messed with.
You could double check if the exits are valid in temporal Flux.

Exits are valid, it only happens once every now and then when you go to leave the whirlpool. Reasons unknown. They will just sit on the whirlpool until you save and reload, and then when you reload they spin and jump to main land.

It’s a randomizer hack (https://github.com/Anskiy/jetsoftime).

I’m poking away at the events but not coming up with a lot but will keep experimenting.

I read about someone noting this bug on Chrono Trigger+ but never saw what the solution was, so I was hoping to catch the eye of someone who has seen it before!

I had to re-import the 1000 ad script from vanilla. Check the wind exit in denadorado mountains it might have the same problem if the overworlds are modified.
