SakuraCon 2007
« on: April 11, 2007, 11:17:18 pm »
Greetings fellow members of the Compendium! Boy, did I have the most awesome
experience I've ever had in my life - attending SakuraCon 2007. I've always known
that Washington state has some of the most talented cosplayers ever to love anime,
and especially those who love RPGs. But I found 3 cosplayers who outshone all...

(if anyone wants to know of what happened at the Yu-Gi-Oh photoshoot I organized,
then let me know; let's just say it was epic, memorable, and made me very proud)

This guy cosplayed as Robo last year, but this time fixed some flaws

THE BEST DAMN HARLE COSPLAYER EVER!

At least someone likes Magus (and he acted on stage in a silly skit, too)

That Magus costume--AND the person wearing it--looks horrible, but the Robo and Harle costumes are wonderful. I think the smile on the Harle cosplayer is a bit too cheerful...it needs to be sadder, to fit the character. But other than that, great costume.

She did do a pose like that, but I'll need to track down who has a pic of it.

Yes, that Magus cosplayer wasn't putting much thought into his costume.

(probably since it was for a skit that involved a ninja attacking him from
behind and using him like a damn puppet to go attack someone wearing
stilts in a costume of the mecha from Rah Xephon - that was very cool)

Mental note to post this on the news page, but blah, time time time time time until the 17th of April.
