Let's begin with something simple. The fun starts now.
« on: May 02, 2007, 02:50:07 am »
Haha, you can't even begin to imagine how happy I am to have found this place. The fun will start now (at least for me anyways). Although my name has a strong resemblance to the Frozen Flame, I obviously made up the "Blue" name myself and I've used this nam for many yesars now to the point where I've made it my own; I will never deny that it was inspired by Chrono Cross though. ^_^

Okies, let's start with a litte introduction:

I found the game when I was 11 (I am now 20), I had just gotten a Super Nintendo and was looking for new game s, the only game I had at that time was Super Mario World. Some kid in my sixth grade class had Chrono Trigger even though he didn't have a Super Nintendo (it was broken or something), and although at the time I had no idea what he had in his hand, I almost had to beg him to let me borrow it. When I started playing it, I absolutely fell in love with it, and I asked him if I could buy it from him, at first he was reluctant, but he let it go for $13 or $15 dollars; imagine my joy many years later when I found what kind of "rare" game Chrono Trigger was... haha, in my opinion the best game ever for the Super Ninendo and one that has survived the test of time. Until this day I sitll have my Super Nintendo and my original Chrono Trigger catridge with my first save.

Recently, I randomly got my girlfriend to play Chrono Trigger on an emulator (we connect online, and I just watch her play while giving her tips when she needs them [if you have that loved one, you should totally make them, even force them, to play Chrono Trigger, haha, it's a great experience]. Essentially, this is what has revived my current interest in this awesome game, and it has also risen many questions as I've matured much and my level of understanding has increased since I last played the game myself.

This is a brief summary to why I have joined this website and its merely the tip of the iceberg.

Well, let's begin with something simple. As I was looking online for Chrono Trigger images to show my girlfriend I stumbled upon a campfire picture. I didn't want to spoil the whole campfire scene in the game as she hadn't gotten to that part yet, but just today she beat that part and I wanted to show her that picture. I was stupid enough not to save the picture when I first found it, and now I (think I) can't find it...

I thought the picture was part of Squaresoft's art set, but when I look in Yahoo images or Google images, all I get is the Ayla, Crono, and Robo campfire picture. Now I'm totally confused, I'm not sure if this is in fact the picture I saw and I thought it was a representation of the campfire scene in the game (even though I've seen and known about the Squaresof art set since a long time ago like any real Chrono Trigger fan). I remember seeing the whole party in this picture, but I could be totally wrong and be confusing it with the one in Squaresoft's art set, or it could be another Squaresoft art set picture that I haven't been able to find now, OR a third possibility where it's a fanart picture with everyone in the party around the campfire. Bah, I'm so bad I didn't save it. Does anyone know about a campfire picture representing the in-game sequence? Or could someone help me find one ? (If you guys find one, this is probably the one I saw...)

Thanks guys. I'm thrilled to meeting all of you.

Welcome. We hardly get any feedback, so this post is very appreciated.

That's the campfire, but it doesn't really happen that way in-game. No monsters appear, and of course the Jet Bike isn't around.

There's the in-game shot from the Fiona's Forest encyclopedia page.

No worries, I'm beginning to fall in love with this place.

Oh, I probably made my post more confusing that it needed to be. I am looking for a picture of the campfire, but not that one or the actual in-game sequence. That's why I'm starting to think that my imagination just tricked me and there is no picture with everyone around the campfire. I could swear I saw it though... :/

you sound like a troll O.o

The pic you saw was probably fan made, look through various circles and you'll find it eventually.
