hey so i downloaded the PG file and used ZNES to open it, i patched the file and every thing but its still not working, any thoughts as to why?

Do you happen to know if your ROM was headered or unheadered? It's important to use the headered patch with a headered ROM, and the unheadered patch with an unheadered ROM. Chances are if you didn't run your ROM through Temporal Flux or some header-removal utility, you have a headered ROM.

You may want to try ripping the header from your ROM and hard-patching the unheadered patch if you haven't already.
