Crono- Sloth: Certainly hard to pin the main man to one, as he is a silent protagonist and is supposed to represent the player, but if he has a defining quality, he is shown as being quite liad back and a lazy sleeper at many points of the game, even to the point where some characters express disbelief in one of the endings.

Marle- Lust: Let's face it, she's after a bit of Crono since the first moment she meets him.

Lucca- Pride: Yep, she certainly has no false modesty that's for sure. She's a genius and she knows it.

Frog- Envy: Being a  frog? Being Cyrus inferior? Queen Leene for sure. He could be said as wanting a lot.

Magus- Wrath: Wrath for sure. It defines his character and motives more than any other sin.

Ayla- Gluttony: She's primal to the extreme, whether it's love or food. She's certainly fills the roll as a glutton.

Robo- Greed: To be honest, Robo is kind of getting stuck with the leftover here. I don't think a Sin can really be attributed to him. Though he certainly is the most attention-craving of the gang. He requires much tinkering from Lucca and seems to be overly dependant on his friends, compared to the others.

Basically what I'm saying is, by show of hands, who uses Robo all that much? He usually sits around the end of time gathering dust.
I use Robo all the time, He is my favorite out of all the cast. That and Life Line being one of the best triple tech.

Crono: Gluttony

Crono reminds me of Goku from DBZ. They both like a good time, both like to fight. And they both are essentially good. However they both eat like pigs.

Crono, first, drank Ayla into the prehistoric ground. He may have eaten an old man's lunch. If you're successful, you can fill a table with empty "soda" cans at the fair. He freeloads at the castle quite a bit. In the future he "sponges" off Marle's dad, which probably includes more food freeloading. They try to get back in good graces with the king, and so they try to give him jerky. After he dies, he is revived with an Egg.

Magus: Wrath

I'm sure Magus wakes up everyday "If a demonic outer space tick smites you on one cheek, smash him on the other." And we can't forget his most badass line ever. "I abolish all those who block my way, without exception."

Marle: Sloth

She's royalty. She shirks duty in order and her life as a princess to go to the fair. I don't blame her for it. But it makes her guilty of Sloth!

Ayla: Lust

I seem to recall her saying she'd go for anybody as long as they're strong. No doubt, strong loving to ensue.

Frog: Envy

I debated making him Wrath, but there's a decided sad note in how he lives. Cut off from human society. He envied Cyrus. His envy was indulged somewhat when he got the Masamune. Notice, thats the brightest point personality wise in the game for him aside from the Hero's Grave Quest.

Lucca: Pride

No need to explain that one really.

Robo: Greed

Robo is probably the hardest to hit. But I say Greed. He's greedy for friends and purpose.

The hard part about all of this is thinking of them all as sins, or bad things. The characters may be guilty of said things but they're not exactly malevolent (well, not all of them).

Ah, I see, you're one of those...Robo's one of the best characters. His Heal Beam is arguably the best Single healing Tech in the game. Shock is behind only Luminaire & Flare as the best multi-targeting Single Magic Tech. Besides Magus he's the only one with access to multiple Magic elements. I believe he's about third behind Crono & Ayla for both highest physical attack & critical hit (though his CH% is low). I always use Robo against Lavos along with Crono & Lucca. Area Bomb (along with Luminaires & Flares and the Uzzi Punch when the Left Bit's around) on the Right Bit is one of the fastest ways to knock Lavos off the face of the planet that I've found.

Hmm, Robo seemed to have a "cultivation mode" when you see him tending to the desert... maybe he also has Vacuum cleaner mode? Refrigerator mode? You have to admit, it would be pretty funny if you saw him vacuuming at the end of time.
