I'm curious if Flea is perhaps a hermaphrodite. They tend to be depicted as mostly female in appearance. And the dress could probably hide a bulge.

Nah, that would be Poison to the Chrono series....

(for all those that got the joke...yes, you're going to Hell).

I'm going to toss this in here for more fun:

Quote
Flea
What the...?!
I'm a GUY! ;D =>

Robo
But its exterior is that of a female...

Flea
Male... Female...what's the difference?
Power is beautiful, and I've got the power!
Poor little Froggy... You must be lonely now that Cyrus is gone...
And to be turned into something so hideous! Dreadful!
But since you've brought new friends over to play...
...I'll show you all a good time!

So, everything hinges on whether or not Robo has x-ray vision.

@Gamer8585: Poison, from Final Fight? Wikipedia seems to have an entry on...it? BUT -- in that case, the wiki suggests that Poison might in fact have been female, but Capcom stated there were no male enemies in the game so as to avoid a spat over violence against women. Little did the Capcom rep who said that know, he only created another controversy...

Is Final Fight's pink-haired cutie (and SF3: 2nd Impact costar) Poison actually a dude? "Let's set the record straight: In North America, Poison is officially a post-op transsexual,' [Street Fighter 4 Producer Yoshinori] Ono reveals. "But in Japan, she simply tucks her business away in order to look like a girl."

So apparently it (sorta) depends on weather she's in Japan or the US.

And now you know. And Knowing is half the battle!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to have a piece of brimstone shoved up my ass.... :(

See also: the Mario series.

Birdo is a female in Dream Factory: Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. USA, but in the American "Super Mario Bros. 2", is labeled as a trannie. On a flip token, Vincent is female in US Paper Mario 2, but a trannie in JP Paper Mario 2.
