Radical Dreamers Relationship System

LeandroTLZ talks about it in his guide, but nothing else on the internet mentions it. I know it must exist, because there are variable actions in the study scene. Can anyone pin its nature and effects down exactly?

Off hand, it affects what she says after battles, the scene under the desk in the study, and the endings of Le Trésor Interdit and The Shadow Realm and the Goddess of Death.

Can anyone specify what the three possible endings for the main scenario are?

I know that one witnesses the shattering of the Chrono Trigger, and the escape of Serge, Kid, and Magil into the night. Is that the best one?

I went hunting for the value today, and found these two addresses were always in sync with the love system's values as predicted by Leandro:

7E0902XX
7E3002XX

Time to set it to 255, then 0, and see what changes.

Seems there are three thresholds, illustrated by the change in dialogue after battles:

0-56

"Dammit, Serge! When are ya gonna bloody grow up and start fightin' like a man?"
Kid's glare shoots into me like an icy lance. I swallow a dry gulp, and continue down the corridor behind her.

57-100

"You got a thing or two to learn, but yer gettin' there, mate."
Kid's mischievous eyes sparkle as I glance at her for a moment in the dim moonlight.
I set off down the corridor with her, ready for what's next.

101-255

"Not bad, Serge... not bad at all," Kid says, catching my eye.
A few moments pass, and... she's still staring at me, smiling. Oh man, what do I do? Should I say something?
"...Uhh, heh..."
I look away after a nervous moment, but full of glee. I can never handle this kind of thing -- those baby blues of hers get me every time...

Could I use Geiger's SNES9x debugger somehow to keep track of 7E0902 and 7E3002 to see if any other game events change these values?

Ouch; I'm missing MFC71.dll.
