I think you have to recognize where Spider-Man's coming from to be able to really appreciate it. I mean, Sam Raimi is an OLDSCHOOL Spidey fan and I think his movie reflects that. It's top-notch cornball action. Very Stan Lee's era of Spider-Man (though certainly not as funny).

Yeah, I guess Spiderman the Movie does sort of embody that whole cheesy action flick sort of thing.
