Daniel, I'm having trouble remember the name off hand, but Microsoft (I believe) did make an RTS where you could customize your units like that. However, instead of mechancial units, they were biological. Once your main character tagged an animal, you'd have access to it's DNA in your creature lab. You could then create new custom creatures by chosing which part should come from which animal in your collection, and make these custom creatures into your units. I had fun with the demo, but never picked up the full thing. Anyone know what this game is called?

i will be the first to admit it, i made a large penis creature and i am ashamed of my self but the demo is very good i only wonder if you will be able to jest make stupid concepts  ( like a four legged penis ) and throw it into the game or does it have to make sence rather then having a one legged creature hopping around.

I don't know if there is an official stance, but in all likelihood I suspect the full game will either have a delay for posting (and thus downloading) creatures, so they can be reviewed, or there will be a way to report inappropriate content (at the very least to set preferences as to what can and can't be downloaded on ones computer automatically).

Side note, for those who do have the Spore Creature Creator, you can log onto www.spore.com and search for Lavos. I am glad to see that there are currently 12 or so different versions of Lavos (and 11 of them look really good ...) I didn't realize how amazing the creature creator could make it until I saw other people's.

Well... I was gonna.  I don't feel like registering.  Can anyone get some screen caps or something of the Lavoids for the Compendium?

Well if you plan on getting the game and ever desire to upload (and maybe download) content, you'll need to register.

Anywho, I'm not really on a good computer to do this, but I got two screen captures. Either I didn't notice the other Lavoses this morning or more were added in the mean time (I didn't get a screen capture of all of them, to note).
