Did you freak out when you first saw a Lavos Spawn?

When I first fought these things, I had a friend tip me off at school not to hit the shell. So I did. And died.

BUT, then I just hit the eye and it was all cool. Now, it doesn't even matter. All my characters have Prism helms and either the prism dress or NOVA armor (I don't like status effects.) so I just beat the things into submission and don't care if I hit the shell.


Just curious, but how much HP does the shell have?

Yes, I remember when I first saw him I was in a low Level and he killed me with the fucking needles.

I freaked out when seeing a spawn,and thought it was Lavos.

Not really I was all like "Holy crap" though and then it killed me and I hadn't saved on death peak so I was kinda angry
