I announced this on the CC:DBT project forum already, but since that's going to be closed to the public soon, I'll re-iterate here. I've accepted a field organizer position with Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign today. Campaign field work is not a normal "9-to-5" job, but rather an all-consuming 14-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week occupation. It becomes your entire life until the election is over. Therefore, I will be very nearly completely-absent from the Compendium until November 4.
I am extremely saddened by the prospect of having to forgo file system exploration, deep philosophical discussion, and all the other goodness that occurs at the Compendium, but I believe Barack Obama's America is the one best-suited to helping preserve the kind of dream-fulfilling opportunities we exercise at this site (sorry McCain fans).
I'm in limbo for another day or so until I'm assigned a campaign jurisdiction to oversee. During that time I'm going to take care of some administrative odds-and-ends for the CC:DBT project and make one final push to add content to the Chrono Trigger sprite insertion guide. I won't be able to complete the guide, or even get it into a working semblance, but I will post what I have so far in a Kajar Laboratories thread so that others may further develop the information into a working guide.
I will make my best effort to answer PMs until I return for good, but it will take awhile as all sorts of emergencies typically crop up during campaign work. For what it's worth, also consider me a conduit into the campaign itself should you like to make a suggestion or have a question regarding Senator Obama's positions on various issues.
