YESSSSSSSS IRELAND GETS CHRONO TRIGGER

I'm still importing from Japan and the US though. Great news for my friends, of course.

I wonder why Chrono Trigger never made it over there...

Not as many RPG fans, probably. I think Mystic Quest was the first 'Final Fantasy' to be released over here, then VII, for example.

Here in Ireland, finding a RPG fan is like finding a wad of cash on the ground, actually...

Heh, I find money on the ground quite a lot actually, once found a $300 silver ring :D

I like how one of its feature is it being a masterpiece.

Wonderful news !! Finally a Chrono game will be released in Europe, and it will not be the last !!
Next step : Chrono Break (or Chrono Cross PSP).
I hope the game will be translated for each European country (which was not the case for every SE game, Star Ocean 3 or FF Tactics for example) to guarantee a great success.

Now the question is : will I be able to wait for the French release or will I get an US copy before the PAL release ?
Early 2009, it's not very clear. But who cares, great news dammit !!  8)

I shed a tear of happiness for those poor lost souls who will soon see the light that is Chrono Trigger.

From what I've read, CT is only being translated into French.  It's pretty dissappointing, seeing as how there are way more German-speakers in Europe.  The reason for this allegedly is that the series is relatively unknown among german-speakers... which is of course because it was never released to them (which holds true for France as well).  But it is still known. I've been posting on some german-speaking boards, and a lot of fans are upset.  There is still naturally the Fan-translation from Cyan, but it would have been nice to receive an official translation.  Of course it's not the first time Square-Enix screws over its Fans.
