No, its the same guy.  After further examination of his videos there are 8th character and tech editors.  It also credits the compendium and members in the videos.

In response to the thread title: No. Like the other people say, I'm sure you could make one. Don't you see a map of 1999 AD if you lose to Lavos? I'm pretty sure it's different than 2300/1000. Check Wikipedia: It has a map of it.

There is no full 1999 AD map, and trying to piece one together from the 1000 AD and 2300 maps isn't very easy. 1000 and 600 are so similar as to appear that they effectively used the same map. However, they (for some reason) didn't do that with 1999. It seems like it would have been much simpler to have taken the 1000 AD map and changed it for their purposes rather than create a "new" map for 1999AD. Thus, in all likelihood, this map was created fairly on in the development process, possibly when the 1000 AD map didn't exist in its entirety either. There are certainly some familiar landmarks, but the specifics of the map do not match with the specifics of any area in 1000 or 2300.

Though to be fair, 1000 and 600 aren't identical either. Over the course of 400 years new areas appear and old areas vanish (for example, Giant's Claw).

Thus, the 1999 AD map seems to be a bit of an artifact left over from the early stages of development. Since the designers weren't obsessive compulsive like we are, they didn't consider going back to make sure the 1999 ad map matched up with the 1000 or 2300 one.

Yes that's me, you won't be seeing my videos though.  My account got suspended for strange reasons, so I have nothing showing of CT or anything anymore.

And Mona, stop trolling, you're not funny, you're annoying.  Even an 8 year old kid is nowhere as bad as you...You just need to grow up.

If there's one thing I'd want in the DS port, it'd be a playable 1999 AD. I don't know HOW this would work but it'd be cool.

The programmers didn't create an entire map for 1999 A.D.

I'm betting because Lavos trashed the rest of it.

in order to be accurate in a recreation of 1999, you'd first have to line up the 1000ad and than 2300ad then line these two up with 1999 and you should be able to verify were everything is at.

I noticed a pattern or just a coincidence between 1000 A.D., 1999 A.D, and 2300 A.D. and it all has to do with the northern island right above northern zenan.

albeit, 2300 has a lot of those islands, but that is the most northern one that size.

the lower island I marked could be the same one Lucca's house is on.

So using the northern island as a base I did this:

and:

So I think if your going to build 1999 A.D. in paint your best bet is to go by the 1000 A.D. map, but It looks to me as if you should make northern zenan wide like in 2300 A.D.

Southern zenan seems to still be there in 1999. A.D. but not in 2300 maybe the continent holding medina moved up and to the right in 2300 A.D. but it looks more southern in 1999 A.D. Anyway, I hope this helps.

ooooor

do what satchel_dawg suggested. :)

I tryed to complete the map in temporal flux but still to hard. If you have the time try using it.
