Personalized thumbnails...

So for a while I had a avatar here on the site.  It was a personalized one, and it was hosted on photobucket.com...  Suddenly I found it gone.  Now I'm trying to put it back on and this is the error I get:

I know it isn't too large - it's actually a little smaller than necessary, besides, it was here on the site for months before in the past.  Can someone please help me out with this?

Also, what is the "official" size for avatars?

What type of image was it? And how many KB was it?

The dimensions should be 100x100 if I recall.

Yeah, I've never tried stretching beyond 100x100 pix. Have you tried making it either a .gif or a .png?

Weird, I just tried changing it to my avatar and it worked...try it again, and try re-uploading it. I just copied "http://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=6259.0;attach=3960;image" into the box for avatars and it seemed to work for me, so toss that URL in if it fails again.

Well, somehow, that did it.  Now I just need to resize it.  The error must be with photobucket or something...

Had the same issue just now. All i had to do was resize the picture below 100 x 100 and save it as a png, i also don't use photobucket or similar service. If anyone is having difficulties using photobucket or whatever, send me a private message and a link to the avatar, and i will host the picture for you.
