The 30 percent discount is for a month, as is the special offer that all slices are the cost of an Original slice. The roll-back to 1979 prices is tomorrow only, and, of course, you'd have to go to one of their parlors to make good on it.

Thanks for the tip, Josh. I took advantage of the cheap pizza last night. My friend brought up an interesting problem though: How do you tip when your total is under two dollars?

Rumor has it that there's still a Patty's in Santa Monica. I used to love that place, but the one near me closed down and I moved anyway. They make a damn good calzone. Let me know if you find it; it would be nice to get some of that the next time I'm down. If you want a more New York style pizza, there's Mulberry Street in Beverly Hills. I didn't go there often, but it's good stuff.

I'll have to check these things out.  I'm not in that area too often, but when I'm there I'm gonna check it all out.  Needless to say, North Hollywood is not a haven for delicious pizza pies.

On Broadway, the line was out the door. Those poor fools had probably been working at a full clip all afternoon. For a tip I just gave them the full change on the last dollar of my bill (eighty cents or whatever...).

Glad that someone else got some use out of my tip!

Man why can't "The Homeplace" do a price cut to the time when they first opened?

Also I didn't know alot of Compendiums lived in the Seattle area.  Just 5 or so hours away from me.
