I think it's a fairly common thing for people to point out Cowboy Bebop having one of the only good dubs in anime existence...Though I still greatly prefer the original voices (Ed's voice just can't be copied and since Ed is my fav character, I can't watch the dub with as much happiness)...
Anyways, I've gotta agree with a lot of the big names that Ramsus threw around in his first post in here...
Samurai Champloo - This is one of the must-see anime series if you ask me. It reminds me a lot of Cowboy Bebop in a way...Very strongly music-based (hip-hop! but just as well-done & integrated as the music for Cowboy Bebop)...a close cast of characters that always seem to be out of luck & in need of money for food...though the similarities sort of end there, I guess, especially in terms of time & setting...
Serial Experiments: Lain - Great mind-freaky lil series. A lot of existential/psychological stuff whirling around technology and a cute, confused sort of girl (she's got like a side-pony and bear pajamas!)...It's better than I could make it sound, honest.
Ranma 1/2 - Good & cute in that way that a lot of earlier anime is...I find it's humor to be along the same lines as Dragonball...with more bewbs...man magically turned into girl bewbs...
And it's been brought up a couple times, but I enjoy it so much that I'll back it too...
Elfen Lied - This anime has pretty much everything I wanted/expected in anime when I was around 13 or 14...Bewbs, blood, & brutal, strange storylines that make you wonder wtf is in the water over there...Plus, it's got a great theme song (I think it's in Latin or something...?)!
