I don't think being freelance really effects anything but his pocketbook.
Well he's not bound to being exclusively a SquareEnix staff member.

Meh if there's a new Chrono game Mitsuda has got to be in it. And he said he did want to come back should another game be planned. And probably Nobuteru Yuuki as well, I liked his designs in Chrono Cross. Though I wouldn't mind Toriyama either, provided it's done like DQVIII.
Toriyama does have a lot of work done with Mistwalker already with the three Blue Dragon games, so he'd be a possible candidate for returning.

I'm glad it's fake.

Xbox 360, Microsoft, I personally dislike the punks. Sure I'll play at a party when I'm bored out of my mind and there's nothing else to do, but more often than not they're straight flat out thieves of ideas and concepts and many of their games are the same damn level.
Chrono showing up on there, being a Chrono fan I'd have to seriously push myself(and I mean really push myself)into getting one but I would have to just to get the new Chrono game. I feel they're best left the way they've almost always been(ALMOST)as Nintendo systems(the one deviation is CC but that was great too).

While I'd still be happy with the overrall product in the end, I will admit that I'd die a little on the inside. It certainly doesn't help when Xbox is the only thing I ever hear about, and if I even mention anything else(unless it's a shooter)no one knows what the hell I'm talking about.

Not to mention certain systems have different takes on games it seems like(I've strongly noticed this)and the types of game Xbox takes on, even if you do include it's RPGS, I have to say I really think Chrono (specially if it's at all related to Trigger) doesn't really fit it on the Xbox. If Break were to be more like Cross I could see it fitting, although it'd still be better suited toward PS3 or Wii(mostly PS3).

I don't see Chrono headed toward any of these major systems though. None of them seem like they'd be very supportive of Chrono. It'd be a "Hey! It's the biggest thing!" Make millions, and then ditch in the gutter, mud splattered all over it treated like their...well y'know.
