So that image use is supposed to be ironical then, Truthordeal? Anyways, the Chinese NES versions of games, including CT, is pretty old news...

actually, this made me think. In Japan, they remake popular games into nes games for fun. I've seen them do it and get away with it for FFX. Maybe someone could actually make a NES version of CT and make it look and sound good. It is possible, after all.

I believe I brought that up myself the last time the Chinese NES CT came up...The consensus seemed to be: Why? I think it might look/sound interesting to basically low-budget CT. It could be either an FU to China as a kind of THIS is how it's done sort of thing or a helping hand thing...*shrugs*

You should see that guy's review of Earthbound, truthordeal. He totally misses the point completely. Then again, he's probably just ranting "for the lulz" or some shit.

Anywho. Funny how this game exists somewhere out there, as there are obviously copies floating around (hard copy or rom, either/or). Squeenix is cool with that, but they're not cool with Resurrection or Echoes? ... Maybe that's the secret, guys. They won't C&D us as long as we make bad remakes or sequels!

That's irony for ya.

Anyway, remember Resurrection wasn't a ROM hack though and their situation was a little different, to the point where Square did feel threatened. And as far as this Chinese NES thing goes, I doubt SE cared enough about this somewhat old "mod"...

Haha, never tried that.
But the mistakenly translated title "Chrono Wheel"  always makes me laugh.

Nice review, Mr. Not-Happy Gamer.  Now if only you can grow some guts and use your real voice instead of using your computer to do the talking for you.

Heck, his computer's got more guts than he does.  Check out this review of Earthbound:
