I have an idea that you might want to use to help improve the terrian and such.  Do you know how to use custom tilesets?  If not, heres how you do it:
click on the Advanced tab
click Modify Tileset...
when the Modify Tileset window comes up, check "Use custom tileset"
now, you should be able to add and remove different tiles in and out of your tileset.  Keep in mind there is a max about of tiles you can have.

Doing this will allow you to add Sand from the Sunken Ruins tileset, so you wont have to have a grassy ocean.

Actually, I do know how to use the custom tilesets. It was purposeful that the sea was grassy at that point, as further inland the shallows would be weedy and the like, and I thought grass appeared as such. Thanks anyway, though.

That game looks pretty good. Will the story only take place in the Medieval times?

Well, as I said, it's a melee map, so there's no story per say. The setting for this particular map is certainly 600AD, however I'm currently working on the remaining two armies, set to be Zeal for one, and for the other the two prehistoric dwellings of Man, the Ioka and Larubans. The former would be incredibly powerful, but very expensive, whereas the latter would have no magic, have cheap yet weak buildings, Dactyl Riders, etc. As such I'll make multiple maps for 65mil BC, for Zeal, etc. And some that will likely be simply pure melee without any set time whatsoever, in which any of the four teams can be freely chosen.

By the way, anyone tried it out yet?

Hmm... I saw this on the mainsite a couple days ago, and was intrigued, but not insanely compelled to play it, since I don't particularly like normal WC3 although I play tower defenses on bnet occasionally, and after playing a really horrible Zelda Maul game a couple months ago I decided to start mapmaking again eventually (i briefly began to make a tower defense at the end of last summer), but after coming here I decided to eventually make a CT/CC-themed tower defense. I'm planning to start it soon after summer starts (I get out of school in 2 weeks, but then I'm going to France and England for about 2 weeks, so roughly around when I come back), and I think it'd be cool if people from the Compendium could team up to work on it (I'm specifically targeting Sentenal and Daniel Krispin for having expressed some past of mapmaking).
If anyone's actually interested and willing to work on it or suggest stuff, my AIM is JPRuberg, email is ShadowDrago@gmail.com, and I use Shadow Drago (or maybe it's Shadow_Drago.. or ShadowDrago, I'll update this with the definite answer once I play again) on bnet (east) incase you happen to catch me on

This has actually inspired me to make a scripted battle of Zenan Bridge map.

I gave it a try, to get the feel for the units and stuff.  Its okay.  I'm not too big a fan of melee, or at least 1v1 melee, but it was pretty good.
