Not in the context of a break, but yes, a Time Stop, when read as a stopping, freezing time can quite definetly be the meaning.

Hey you know break can mean to separate something into pieces also.

Yes, that's another option. The first one that comes to my mind, actually.

Technically, break means to split into pieces, and so forth. The reason it is spoken of as a 'coffee break', I think, is because that time slot breaks the work morning in half (or into any sort of segment.) It does not, however, imply a pause or stop.

This is where the 'actual' title of CB comes to play - or, at least, the one registered and kept for a while in Japan, Chrono Brake. That does indeed mean to slow down, often with the intent of stopping. It seems the use of both of these for CB has caused some confusion, but brake and break really do not mean the same thing.

Hi, Dan.

Hmm, intrestingly enough, when I saw Chrono Brake (Or even Break, for that matter) the first thing that popped into my mind was "Time stopping".

Sorry to derail, but I posed this question awhile ago in "Where hath Belthasar evanesced." We can't really merge topics though, so carry on!

I thought CC was a wannabie game of CT when I read about all these weird new characters, I was like "where the f&^$ is Crono and the gang".

Then I realised that it was a sequal and was like "OMFG! SCHALA, SCHALA!!!!!"
