I (and some friends who aren't on this forum) am making a Chrono Trigger fangame (In rpg maker xp).

So far we have decided that the game will be in another world that branches off from the world of Chrono Trigger, it will start in the same world but then you will be transported to a different plane of reality where Gaurdia was never a dominant kingdom, Lavos never came. I'll give some more world and character info later once we've figured things out better.

Note: This is just testing the graphics Crono will not appear in the game

Here is a preview of what the main character might look like:

At the moment I'm taking screenshots from playing the ROM to cut up and use as tilesets (The houses and stuff) but I was wondering...is there a better way to get the graphics? Is there some way to open the ROM graphics or something?

I'll post more info on the game later, it's not all been figured out yet

graphics, yeah you can get them from the rom but area tilse sets for a bunch go to

Check out Temporal Flux. Chrono Compendium > Community > Modification. You can't miss it; it can save a .png of any location or area in CT.

Looks fun.

a chrono game without Lavos? Can it be true? It might be cool. Alot of new fangames emrging now arnt they?

Absolutely. It's a big event, after all, and we as Chrono fans should celebrate it somehow.

Ok, didn't that already happen? I remember a big thing at the Compendium when CT's b-day came around...I'm fairly sure it was for it's tenth...Maybe I'm remembering wrong...But I'm fairly sure I'm right...

Japanese tenth; yeah we released some stuff. Right now Chrono Symphonic wants to debut on the 29th, and since the Compendium's closely tied to it, it can easily pass for our big event. However, site projects aren't always reliable concerning deadlines...so I don't have anything else lined up, really, that's groundbreaking. Unless the CE demo comes out or something.

27th actually. It's September 27th, 2005, not the 29th. But whatever.
