Well, just didn't realize that before until today.
If you never get her in your party before Lynx steals Serge's body, you can never recruit her again.
That results the disappearance of Kid after Fate is killed.

Well, I just wonder where does she go if she's not in Radius's place and what would Luccia say about the letter.

Well then, it's time for me to play Chrono Cross again. I didn't know it was possible to not recruit her.

Is it even possible not to recruit her? I know you can reject her many times, but I thought there was a point in which you were forced to recruit her. I need to play the game again

It is possible. Recruiting her is never mandatory at all. Sure, you'd have to give up quite some stuff (Edit: Wait, the Mastermune isn't one, but you still miss out like a few characters and the like), but it's possible.

I seem to recall that she joins you automatically after she's cured with the hydra humor (assuming you haven't recruited her yet).... I could be wrong, however. It's been a while.

I really need to play this again... Alas, my Chrono Cross discs are several states away from me, at the moment.

I should definitely powerplow through Chrono Cross, just to test that. I'd like to see that.

You can choose not to cure her. And you can even ignore the Water Dragon and force into Mt. Pyre.
