It proabably takes up less code to do that then to prevent them from walking through there. The game was pretty large in coding size if I am not mistaken.

Hey saw that when I first bought the game for SNES when you check the cartridge you can see something like this under it

So I think Crono had a large coding like SilentMartyr said.

The Chrono Trigger cartridge is a 32-megabyte one (instead of less for normal SNES cartridge), so perhaps this is where the difference come from. I think only Tales of Phantasia does better, with a 64-megabyte cartridge.

Yeah it doesn't say anything.

There's also invisible Janus and Schala sprites blocking your exit of the room in the earthbound village until you get the ruby knife.

I wonder if there are other invisible sprites in the game? Would take to long to check though...

i would disagree about them doing that better than programming a way to block them, in order to save space... after all, they shouldn't be so restricted by space, since they didn't bother to purge scenarios that didn't make it to the final version, like the singing mountain.

Lol... i think that the only think that would convince them of doing a remake right now is if we hired Andersen Consulting for them to make a market probing and stimate how much money they would get from a remake lol
Undoubtedly less than from a good sequel, though... but yeah, i also believe that CT is screaming for a *DECENT* remake (including new stuff, some new locations, and deepening a bit more in the plot... man... wouldn't it be wonderful if we got a "Chrono Trigger Compilation"? *dreams*).

Come to think of it, i wish both CT and CC were only just released now. Like i mean, imagine how much better graphics it would have, and because of the size of the modern-day consoles, they would be able to include much in the game! *dreams also*

Well there is no point dreaming over it because it porbably (im not saying it wont full stop) wont come true. Any ideas on what they could add in the remake?
