CT FAQ / Modification Developments
« on: July 15, 2005, 12:30:39 am »
Ice Water, on the Gamefaqs CT board, has collected some of the most frequently asked questions there. I can vouch that they're often posted; I've elaborated on his answers to produce a small CT FAQ for users who want answers to commonly asked basic information. It's listed on the Main Page of the Encyclopedia; you can access it here.

There have been new developments in the Modification section of the Encyclopedia. I've added two questions to the Temporal Flux FAQ and have started a new Encyclopedia section to document CT Event Code. That said, these sections are still relatively young, but stay tuned for a tutorial regarding constructing a basic scene with Temporal Flux.

That's cool. I fixed a couple minor problems I saw in it.

I heard Schala's powers far exceed
   those of her mother.

   Then there's her step-brother, Janus.
He's of royal blood, but he doesn't
seem to have a speck of magic.

Uh, well, since it was a translational error, I'm guessing the Compendium's stance is: It was a translational error.

From what I remember of Hyena20's old thread in GameFAQs (that I believe someone saved and is now part of a FAQ there), the error was due to the fact that a (or many) Zealian(s) makes thinly veiled ennuendo about Janus maybe not being a pure-blooded Prince (ie Zeal f***ed around on the King or at least was rumored to have possibly).

wait I though in Japanese version it was something like

Quote

those of her mother.

Then there's her brother, Janus.
He's of royal blood, but he doesn't
seem to have a speck of magic.
I think he may be Schala's steb-brother.

or something like that

So could this herald a possible Radical Dreamers and/or Chrono Cross FAQ (we already have the ToastyFrog Chrono Break FAQ! lol)? It seems that a Radical Dreamers one would be easy enough...But Chrono Cross would probably be a serious undertaking...

Yeah, I'm thinking about just recruiting the Gamefaqs board to put one together, since they did the CT one.

These codes will allow you to just press A instead of L+R+A.

F69B3010
F69B3103

They modify the game's content, as opposed to memory, so it is safe to leave them on all the time.
