Chickenlump, longtime Chrono Trigger rom hacker and assistant to inquisitive students of the trade, has created a tool to help editors with Gates. Gates can be an imposing mish-mash of event code; to simplify things, Chickenlump cleared all the events out of Gato's Exhibit at the Millennial Fair and left a simple, clean Gate there. You can study it at your leisure to learn the event commands behind Gates; eventually, an accompanying tutorial will come along. You can grab it
here; simply patch it to your CT rom (or a copy if you don't want to lose Gato) and have fun.
Secondly, Chrono Legend has been announced. It's another new project in RPGMakerXP, to be made by Shadow03. Shadow would like to upstage Chains of Fate and Chrono Crisis, but we've yet to see if this will be the case.
