The Crimson Echoes Logo (or what will become it)

I just finished a player's guide in the Merchandise Encyclopedia. It stands out not only because it carries the manga (this was already on the site), but a great poster that is rarely seen. We could use this Crono drawing in a logo for CE, since a CE logo does not yet exist. If anyone wants to try it:

I wish you'd brought this up a week and a half ago; in my computer graphics course we had to create a logo, and I just decided to make a plane thing (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/ShadowDrago/Plane-Logo-1-Final.gif) because I wanted to do something with wings, and then we had to make an advertisement for it (probably too big to upload, 8.5"x11", 300ppi, 33MB total).. it'd have been so much cooler if I'd thought of doing the logo/ad for CE

Now I can work it (I was actually in my course when I made the last post), but I'm a bit confused; by logo do you mean a small design (like the thing I linked to), or something like a title screen?

I guess it's more of a sig than anything, and I assume you wanted something like just the CT:CE part on the left, but I wasn't sure how to incorporate the Crono pic without making it sig-like

Very nice. It is very much a sig, but if we can cut it in half and use the left side, it could be used for a CE logo. Not what i expected though, doesnt seem very Chrono like, oh well, we'll see what other ppl can think of.

I could always cut off the right side, move Crono to the left and flip him (it seems to me that he should be facing the right if he's under the text)
I wanted to use a cursive font for the 'Crimson Echoes', but I couldn't find a good one to settle on, and I wanted it to stand out, but I agree that it stands out too much and is too different

I didn't want to use a font similar to the preexisting logo, any suggestions for fonts? (I use www.dafont.com to find and download fonts)
Also, I think it'd be better to have Crono under the text; then the break in the poster won't be visible and now it really bothers me whenever I look at it

yes, cut the right side off and put Crono under the words, that would look sic.

I just did a CE logo. I didn't use this picture because I forgot it but I'll post the stuff here anyway instead of making a new topic:



I'm not sure about the Japanese characters though (I've just put ku-ri-mu-so-n e-ko without knowing much about the pronunciation). Tell me what you think

Well, looking back, the previous logo sucked. I've made a new one. I'm not sure I'm totally satisfied with it, but I wanted something more original so I've made "hrono Trigger" different than on the CT logo, and used another font for "Crimson Echoes" to put emphasis on it. This way, I think the game can appear more distinguishable than a "mere" fangame with an expected recycled Chrono logo with just a word replacing "Trigger" or "Cross".

I'm still in the coding of Prophet's Guile Mt. Woe, but I can't help but try making a new CE logo at the same time. It was too tempting because of the Crisis logo contest next door....

Here's a work-in-progress picture. The letters are plain red currently but will eventually have the same texture as the old logo above. I made a flame stuff in the background, but I realized half-way through it that it might look too much like an FFVII-ish meteor. So I've tried to make it as different as possible. Comments?

New version. It's supposed to be the Frozen Flame behind the C, hence the two eyes/dots in the center.
