everyone prolly knows this but for people who dont :

if you have the epoch with the wings that dalton fixed up and you goto 1999 day of lavos in it you dont have to fight the first form of him the epoch just breaks right through him so youll only have to fight 2 of em the second form and 3rd form

Wow. How useful.

People can find that out on their own.... Listen, I don't wanna sound mean. We discuss Easter Eggs, things that are hard to find and discuss things we find odd. Not facts anyone can discover on his own.

It does. You can't get back to the EoT or save if you use the Epoch. Once you're in him that way, there's no way to flee in order to level up or save, leave alone via Save File.

Not that it matters to me. I always save before facing important\final bosses. In CC I now have a save before FATE, the DG and the TD. Maybe I should Miguel to that, I always found that theme behind that battle touching... And Miguel has some pretty sweet lines. Like when you flee and he asks you if you want to go on. Say no, and he says that it's okay, you have all the time in the world. In that place, in that context, I find that line cool.

Hmm, you should play it. Plot's a tad confusing, but it's an awesome story either way.

Meh, I thought the Miguel battle theme was annoying...It doesn't change very much...And the battle can be long so you can hear that damn thing looped so hard it hurts.

But honestly, some people never bothered to use the Epoch.

I think it's better to, because it's like the Epoch sacrifices itself for the team rather than the team sacrificing the Epoch. Plus, how else do you get the awesome balloon (/real) ending?

Aw nuts, not this again. I thought we discussed this ages ago V_T? I still believe that the Epoch shouldn't be sacrificed!

Hey, I left "real" in parenthesis, what more do you want? I calls em how I sees em.

Ok the, if you say the baloon ending is the 'real' ending, i say the ending with the Epoch is the 'real' ending.

And really, I try not to say the "real" ending so much as it's the most "ending" of all the endings...because there's nothing else for the party to do but lay back...adventure done.

Yes, I do agree on that, but what I had been saying is that it just seems so unlikely they would want to trash the Epoch.

Well, like I said, I don't think of it as Crono & Co. sacrificing Epoch, but that it's Epoch sacrificing itself for Crono & Co. Or, wait...what's the option that it gives you when you go to 1999 again?

On my 'perfect' game file, there is no choice, Magus just asks "How frightened are we"? twice, the choices are fight or run away, if u say fight twice, Magus goes "We'll break through", and then the sequence starts.
