I realize it don't pay nothin'; I'm used to that. The theater work I do doesn't pay anything either, but I love it none the less. Resumes are just a tool to give an idea of epxerience really; but if you say so, I won't bother submitting it when I send in my auditions.

Yeah, I got Audacity too after reading an article on Maximum PC.

The article was actually a huge how-to for expressing full fair use rights in the face of the Digital Rights...thing. Anyway, it provided instructions for ripping DVDs, re-encoding, getting around copyright protection on CDs, etc. and Audacity comes in handy.

Any tips on Audacity? *has been a loyal fan for a few years now* XD

Anyways, on topic...

Any female parts left open? o.o

I tried VA'ing once... got booted because I couldn't put the right emotions into my voice, but, I've been practicing, so... ^^;

EDIT:

Here's my two audtions, one Schala, one Azala. I think Schala turned out better, but...

Anyways, I sent two voice clips for you... ^^;

Hey, Jake/tehSchala, can we get an update?  Like roles that are cast, the animation that's done, voices done recording, still expected Sep 29th release date?

I auditioned for 7 parts.

But crap, just about an hour after sending them, I realized that I pronounced Masamune wrong for my Glenn audition!  I pronounced it like I use to think it was pronounced, like it was an English word like "ma-sa-mune" where the "u" in "mune" says it's name.  I should have said it like a Japanese word like "ma-sa-mu-ne" where every two letters form a sylable...

I guess I'm not getting that part... oh well...

Pronunciation can be corrected, my friend. ;)  I don't think I'll even bother thinking about it right now, I can tell you immediately that you ABSOLUTELY got the part of Dalton!  As for others, we'll see. :)

I've had two Azala auditions, and I have decided on one, though I can't remember which one you were! =P  Did you audition for Schala as well?

Yes!  My years of practicing to laugh psychotically have finally paid off!

One thing's for sure, though.  My voice is going to be really hoarse after the Zeal chapters are done...

Is the part for Young Janus still open? My ordered mic is supposed to come in sometime soon, and I think my slightly changed but still fairly high voice (I'm only 14 >_>) might be able to emulate his speaking pitch well (the emotions, on the other hand :roll: ...).

Joseph, it's pointless to mention DBZ around me...  I have no idea what any of them sound like.

Young Janus...I have someone in mind for him, but who knows...  You're welcome to audition.

Gah, my mic is having major problems, so I'll probably have to go purchase a new one, which I won't be able to do until Saturday or so =(

I just sent my Magus audition (adult Janus). I think I did pretty well. My voice is deep and I've lways figured Magus to have a deep voice.

I've sent some auditions, too. Don't know if you got them, though.
