I don't think I can believe that stuff about Kato possibly just lying..."The creators are lying!" seems like a lame excuse to believe in an outlandish theory...There's no real reason to believe that Kato's lying...If they wanted they could just hint at a possibility that she is, but heck, like I said, her name isn't as close to Lucca in the Japanese version anyways and there are other things that show that they are two different people as stated in this thread...

Let's pretend you (Lucca) were hiding from the FBI (Porre, Lynx, whoever).  If you wanted to stay in disguise, would you really change ONE letter of your name?  My name's Dewey, I don't think it would be too smart to change my name to "Dewy" to avoid people that were looking for me.

Well it was a beautiful dream while it lasted, thats what I get for wanting Lucca to actually make a proper appearance in that game, I just *sniff* wanted *sniff* Lucca *sniff* *bursts out crying*

Oh well, thanks for proving me wrong, never again will I desire for Lucca anywhere, ever, again (can't you tell I'm a Lucca fan?).

I'd rather not see Lucca than learning that she's Luccia anyway (wtf? stereotypal German accent  :x ).

If you really want to see Lucca make a cameo appearance, play Xenogears :wink:

Where is this?  I can't remember sicne I played Xenogears so long ago.  I realyl need to go buy it because I was too young to understand such a great story and it was so hard for me that I stopped playing and forgot so much about the story.  Do you see Lucca when the village is burning or somewhere else?

Prior to that. She's in one of the houses, and gives you some advice on how some of the things in the game work.
