Now if Kato would just answer the Crono = Miguel thing and put that to rest too, whether he is Miguel or not.

Lucca's way cooler than Luccia anyway. That russian accent? PUH-LEASE!

What's bad with a russian accent? >_> (I don't have one, but my parents do!)

At any rate, it can't be Lucca because she gave Kid her expiremental Time Egg. No matter how deep she researched, I doubt she could open Gates of her own free will. The Red Gate was opened by the Entity so she could fix that one moment in the past that scarred her for life. There is no such moment that's connected to Chronopolis. Lynx  woulden't think her dead, Lynx has the brain of a supercomputer, he would calculate she disappeared, go off after her, and kill her. If FATE is powerful enough to bind someone in another dimension in place, she has enough power to reach out in time to kill someone.

Then there's the matter of Grobyc, like Chrono99 said.

Then there's the matter Luccia was next to both Belthasar and Lynx for days, nay, weeks. Either of the two would of approached her. Lynx would of taken her again, Belthasar would wonder what the fuck happaned to his plan of mass destruction. ("NOOO!!! WHERE DID I GO WRONG!? WHY, GOD, OH WHY?! I SHOULD OF STICKED WORKING IN A BAR IN ZEAL!!!")

In Porre. I think, if I'm not mistaken, Luccia is in fact a native of that country, and was a scientist of some worth in their halls, unless my memory fails. It was during the years of peace and cooperation between Guardia and Porre that they presumably met, as fellow followers of science.

Okay, so now Luccia was a scientist when she was between ages 8 and 12? Because she's 28 in 1020 A.D., meaning that between 1000 and 1005, she would be 8-12.

Well, in Lucca orphanege we have on the floor a note where she said she sold some stuff to Porre. Meaning she was still in good relations with Porre, although the bastards wrecked her homeland, sent her two best friends to hiding (In the best scenario... Killed them at the worst scenario), and probably orphaned a lot of children. Seriously, she must of really needed money. Then again, having an orphanege full of screaming, hungry kids is rather costly.

So, I should guess while Luccia was still starting her job and Lucca gave her some help.

Likely she was Luccia's role-model and mentor who encouraged her into scientific persuits. That she was younger truly doesn't matter, and only cements the position of mentor.

CC states that Luccia and Lucca worked together on scientific things. Theories, gadgets etc.

Also, In RD, it's Porre that burns down Lucca's orphanage. But under Lynx's control pretty much.

I don't remember anything about Luccia working with Lucca on scientific things. Sure they knew each other and Luccia became a scientist, but that's about it.

I guess they shared some insights (Luccia does mention Lucca told her of the Epoch), but not worked together. Lucca had bigger things on her hands, like the life of a bunch of homeless, parentless and without her, hungry children. So I get the feeling she didn't make so many discoveries in that time.

If Kato himself said that Luccia is not Lucca, then that's how it is. No matter the similarities.

Not really so. Developers keep lying about their games all the time, just to keep mysteries!

You do have a point, though in this case it seems pretty sure that Luccia is not Lucca, but who knows?

We don't know what he's hiding from us.

Exactally. It'd be smart to hide alot of the points if they ever want to make Chrono Break or Brake whatever.

All these theories are interesting. The two characters are very similar.. I guess it's just coincidence Kato created.
