Wasn't the Red Rose technically... UGH I CAN'T REMEMBER THE QUEEN'S NAME.. anyway, the queen's ship? I thought of 'red rose' right when I heard the question, but I think that was because Beatrix's theme is called that, and whenever I think of scenes of Beatrix on the Red Rose, the queen (ARGH, WHAT'S HER NAME?!?) is always sitting like she controls it.. maybe I'm wrong and I'll have to refresh my memory on that, though

Her name is Queen Brahne... I just call her Dagger's mom. Oh, and in disc 3 and forward, I call her "the really ugly corpse".

Ah, that is the lovely Aya Brea of the Parasite Eve series... That particular shot is from early in the game, when she's in her pretty evening dress. ^_^

I made a list of video games that I was going to plan to get around my birthday, and Parasite Eve caught my eye... Hmm, I checked the list I made and apparently it caught my eye, but not enough to write down its prices...

[Legend of the Past]

Hmm, it really is a great game. Unique battle system, very intresting story (Biology and a tad of physics is a must for understanding this storyline), and though this really is a short and small game (Less then characters in the WHOLE GAME that's 10 hours, tops), it's fun and inspiring. The graphics for a 1998 game are really sweet, and you should really try it.

It's for PSX, right? I don't think my computer has the ability to handle that kind of emulation, if so... WOW, I just checked gamestop.com and it's $6.99 used.. EBGames is $12.99... Hmm, I was planning to get Tales of Legendia, Fire Emblem, and Kingdom Hearts 2 around December or January once Gamestop starts to get them in used and has a buy-2-used-games-get-1-free-sale.. I might end up getting Parasite Eve and 2 other cheap games if I can find more games that are good and only like $7

And, yeah, it's Kamui... I never really paid much attention to his last name, so I had to look up 'Kamui Shirou' to see if you were talking about X <_<

I noticed a Parasite Eve section on creativeuncut when I was there yesterday, and the CG thumbnails looked really good.. Are those CG things (like the same quality as the one in your sig) for cutscenes, or the game's actual graphics?

I heard about X first when I saw episode 0 (ugh, I really don't like that episode now) in like september or october, and I wanted to get either the series or the movie, but I wasn't really intent on doing it.. Eventually I looked up the prices and kept bugging my mom to get the movie (since it's only like $12 on www.discountanimedvd.com); she kept saying that she'd get it for me, but then never did... I thought I was going to get the movie with money from my birthday, so when somebody asked me what I wanted for $30-40 I told them to get me the series, and I still haven't gotten the movie
I originally felt bad about watching the series before the movie, but if I'd waited I still wouldn't have seen it, so I guess it's good that I didn't wait
When I find the time I'm going to rewatch the series with dubs instead of subs (but I did like the subs.. a lot of the voice actors sounded familiar)

And... I heard the movie is just terrible, about EVERYONE die. In terrible ways, to boot.
