I was just wondering...

What are you guys scared of?

I'm asking you remain serious (Aura, I'll be keeping a good eye on you), and I do not want this topic hijacked. Furhter more, I'll ask you do not show picturs of what people are scared of. Respect the fact they're human, please.

Now, let me share mine... I'm afraid of heights and of cockroachs. So.. There  you are.

Bugs.  Of most types.  I'm OK with spiders (as they're arachnids), but most bugs are just... ugh.  Special hate for bees and wasps, though I definitely don't like most bugs in general.  Few exceptions (ladybugs are OK).

I would put Goatse, but I've been desensitized to its unholy ravages.

Quite simply, I'm afraid of two things: being alone, and not having a future.  Everything else is cake.

I'm afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of change, I'm afraid of the future (Chrono Trigger doesn't help. >_>) and I'm afraid of economic crashes. yea I know.

I have a very strange, and while small, it's still doesn't make sense. I get slightly nervous when, if I run a program and the screen turns black to load, that something...I don't know, strange will happen, I guess. For example, something will come out and attack me. I think this roots towards a fear of the unknown/uncontrollable.

Besides that I can't think of anything.

I know you'll coax me and harass me and prod me for this, but really...  I honestly can't think of anything I'm afraid of.  Sure, something might make me jump at first, but there's nothing that I ever just flat-out worry about.

I'm terribly afraid of someone close to me dying or just not being in my life anymore so all of a sudden that its as if they died.  Usually (don't tease me for this because I dont' have a dad) its my mom, other times, my girlfriend.

I don't think I'm afraid of anything else besides losing someone.

Losing those I love, primarily.  I'm a Christian, so I do believe that there is life after death, but that doesn't make the pain of them not being there any less real.

Other than that... losing the ability to think.  Alzhimer's is particularly horrifying for me.  To lose oneself before you die is a worse fate than most others ever conceived, and to be feared and guarded against at all costs.

Don't worry, we'll always have Crono to come save our lazy asses.  And failing that, we don't have 40,000 nukes stockpiled for no reason.
